Highlights

Junior quarterback Xavier Alvarez was a perfect four for four in pass completion for a total of 95 yards. He also rushed for 88 yards, scoring three touchdowns.

Senior Kyron Crain rushed for 136 yards on 16 carries.

Senior George Jones had a strong game that earned him Athlete of the Week honors. He played offense, defense, and special teams and was instrumental in the Cardinal win over the Jaguars. He made a 91-yard run out of the Cardinals’ end zone to set up his own touchdown on a critical fourth down just a few plays later. He also intercepted the ball to stop a scoring drive and seal the win for the Cardinals. He ended the game with 117 rushing yards on 9 carries, including a touchdown, a touchdown on a 14-yard reception, and six total tackles.
