Disney CEO, Bob Chapek, has been funding hundreds of thousands of dollars towards Florida’s “Don’t Say Gay” bill which many say is an attempt to erase all LGBTQ+ children by removing the action of teaching about the topic as a whole in schools within the state. This action has caused a lot of frustration and anger both among Disney employees and those outside of the company. Many employees have sent the CEO emails discussing the issue and how it is hurtful to those of the LGBTQ+ community. Many employees are also hurt and demand that Chapek makes an end to these donations but he has ignored these comments and is continuing to fund this bill.
