The SBHS Cardinals took on the Big Bear Bears on Thursday, Dec. 8, 2022 in a non-conference home game. The Cardinals triumphed in the match, winning 8-0 and improving their record to 3-2. The Cardinals face off with the 4-0 Indian Springs Coyotes on Dec. 14 in a Mountain Valley conference game.

Highlights

Senior Juan Magaña was named the player of the match with a hat trick and two assists.

Senior Fernando Formento scored four goals and had three assists.

Senior Abraham Ochoa had a game leading nine steals.

Junior goalie Oswaldo Diego defended the net with ease with four saves.

As a team, the Cardinals had eight goals, eight assists, and 38 steals.
