As the year comes to an end, there comes a new surplus of movies releasing in the coming year. New movies means new entertainment for 2022. Fans are waiting for the new movies to come out and watch. 

Batman

The highly anticipated “Batman” stars Robert Patterson as Batman and Paul Dano as the Riddler. Ever since the original film’s release in 1943, the franchise has grown a major following and has a large place in pop culture. The movie shows the perspective of a masked vigilante whose main goal is to protect his city of Gotham from crime and criminals hellbent on spreading destruction and their towards the city. The rating of the new “Batman” movie is PG-13 and it is an action thriller movie coming in March 4, 2022.

SpiderMan: No Way Home

“Spider-Man: No Way Home” is another highly anticipated movie that is due to release on December 17, 2021. It stars the fan favorite Tom Holland as Spider-Man. The movie takes place after “Spider-Man Far From Home” when Spider-Man’s identity is revealed to the world. Peter makes a deal with Dr. Strange to make his identity secret again. Tom Holland’s “No Way Home” will be the last movie he plays as the masked web slinger vigilante SpiderMan and Willem Dafoe as Green Goblin.  The movie is rated PG-13.

Morbius

Another movie is Marvel’s “Morbius” starring Jared Leto. It is about a man who is injected with a medicine that’s supposed to cure him so he can live, but instead he gets turned into a vampire-like person. It will be in theaters January 28, 2022 and the rating is PG-13. 

DC: League Of Super Pets

A DC movie coming out is the new “DC League Of Super Pets.” It is an action-drama about pets who have inherited the power of the DC Justice League and unknown forces of enemies invade their planet. The Super Pets need to help save their planets. It is coming out in 2022 and is rated PG.

Avatar: 2

One of the most anticipated movies on this list is following an almost 13-year gap since the original; ‘Avatar 2,’  starring Sigourny Weaver, Michelle Yeoh, and Kate Winset. This action-drama has an expected release date of December 16, 2022. The rating hasn’t been officially released, yet the original evaluation of the movie received PG-13.
