Hey Cardinals! Many of you know that SBHS is the oldest high school in the county and that means that we have a long and storied history. However, much of that history is long forgotten, including our original mascot! Our first official logo and mascot was an Indian! The Tyro Times, Tyro Annual, and official school papers had an Indian logo on it. In 1901, we began the slow transition from being Indians to Cardinals. The transition was fully completed during the 1930s when we officially became the Cardinals!
