San Bernardino High School’s Cardinals hosted San Gorgonio’s Spartans on Thursday, December 1, 2022. This game was a non-conference home game for both teams. SBHS’s soccer team lost to San G, 3-1. With this loss, the Cardinals move to 1-2 on the season. They face off with Big Bear High School on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at 5pm.

Highlights

Senior Juan Magana, #10, scored the Cardinals’ only goal in the first half of the game.

Junior Emmanuel Aguilar, #5, had the assist.

Senior Fernando Formento, #7, had five steals and was named the Player of the Match as he had over 25 dribbles and 10 shots on target.

Junior Abram Araujo, #13, also had five steals.

Seniors Miguel Hernandez, #20, and Jose Gomez, #15, both had six steals.

Junior Oswaldo Diego, #1, had five saves in the match.
