For this year’s final theatre production, the SBHS Theatre Department will be putting on a comedic musical known as ‘The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee,’ directed by Olivia Parker. This show is about the tale of several socially awkward youngsters finding joy, heartache, and a purpose in competing at the regional spelling bee. Casting by our brilliant director has just finished, and with the cast list up and both the actors and the technicians excited for work, the musical is under way. The musical won’t be for a few more months, but get ready for it. Dates and ticket cost are to be announced soon.
