The class of 2025 has embodied the spirit of the cardinal: bold and unforgettable. As the first group of freshmen to return to campus after distance learning during the COVID-19 pandemic, they stepped into high school ready to reclaim every experience they had missed. Over the past four years, they did just that, and more.
From cheering under the Friday night lights and dancing the night away at prom, to rallying with classmates in the gym and making memories at lunch in the quad, this class embraced every moment of the high school journey. They celebrated homecoming, earned scholarships and academic awards, and hopefully picked up a few lessons along the way…both inside and outside the classroom.
Senior year brought even more milestones: a last senior breakfast, competitive and colorful fun during field day, soaking up the sun during the beach trip, and one last unforgettable adventure at grad night.
Their achievements speak volumes. Boys’ water polo captured the MVL and CIF Southern Section 6 titles, while girls’ swim and water polo both dominated as league champions. Softball and baseball also finished as MVL champs, capping their seasons with no-hitters on the same night, and on Senior Night no less. Boys’ tennis went undefeated in the regular season. The Johnny Cardinal Robotics team wowed us all, finishing 5th out of 180 teams at the SeaPerch International Robotics Competition. And these are just a few examples of the many ways this class has made their mark.
Take a look back at graduation, one of your final and most meaningful moments together as the class of 2025….forever Cardinals, forever champions, and always part of our nest.
