Have you ever wondered how you can get involved in your community? As of now, San Bernardino is being run mainly by the older generation. This results from younger people either not caring or not knowing how exactly to become a part of the community. For those of you who simply just don’t know where to start, this article is for you.
Getting involved can be as simple as participating in events at school or in the local community, but can also extend to committee boards for those of you up for more of a challenge.
Upcoming events in the community:
- June 7: Free kids play zone (12 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.) and free swim lessons (12 p.m. – 2:30 p.m) at Jerry Lewis Family Swim Center
- Movies in the Park: movies start at dusk and admission is free
- June 7 (Wildwood Park): Ralph Breaks the Internet
- June 14 (Hanes Park): They Can’t Save the World at All
- June 21 (Tom Minor Park): The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part
- June 28 (Lytle Creek Park): Bumblebee
- July 5 (Nunez Park): Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse
