Additionally, Soltero-Cordova gave advice to students and told them to seek answers and express their thoughts or worries rather than holding them since it causes regret. Soltero-Cordova also is saying that you shouldn’t be shy and should speak up more, by speaking up more students will get additional help.  

“Always ask questions, because it’s better to not have any regrets than speaking out about what you’re thinking,” Soltero-Cordova said.

Furthermore, he also mentions how many students should appreciate things and not take them for granted. This can benefit a lot of students and it’s helpful advice to students because most take a lot for granted .

“They should appreciate the teachers and friends they have because some come and go and they don’t realize what they have until it’s gone,” Soltero-Cordova said.

Moreover, Soltero-Cordova said he would switch lives with Michael Jackson, this reveals to us how important it is for Soltero-Cordova to spread joy and positivity just as Michael Jackson did. 

“Michael Jackson, because he always puts on lots of shows and brings smiles to people,” Soltero-Cordova said. 

Soltero-Cordova wants to compete in Mr. Cardinal in hopes the experience would give him the chance to socialize more with people. He doesn’t just want to change things but he wants to improve himself and be able to meet new people. By meeting new people, he would most likely help these people and give good advice to them.

“I’m competing for the experience and I want to meet people and talk more,” Soltero-Cordova said.

In addition, he mentions that he would like to fix world hunger because people deserve to eat. This shows that Soltero-Cordova has a kind heart and wants to help people he doesn’t know, that alone tells us that Soltero-Cordova isn’t a selfish person but rather a supportive and kind person.

“I would donate to the world hunger cause and try to get it solved,” Soltero-Cordova said 

Soltero-Cordova also mentions that in order to help and hear out the school community, he would do  surveys and see what people are the most fond of. Surveys are very beneficial to the school since it’s focused towards the students’ opinions and thoughts. Since Soltero-Cordova knows this, he knows that this will help the students’ voices be heard.

“Do surveys, and see what’s most popular to them,” Soltero-Cordova said

It should also be noted that Soltero-Cordova wants to be a firefighter.  He wants to specifically be a medic, the one who stays back and helps as much as possible.

“I plan on becoming a firefighter because I love the first aid jobs and all the responders and the 911 calls,” Soltero-Cordova said.

 His choice in superpowers shows he would put others first.

“I would use it for everyone’s benefit, to look out for others before myself,” Soltero-Cordova said.

What all of this has told us is that Soltero-Cordova wants to be Mr. Cardinal for the fun experience, change, and to help others in need. He wants to do so many things in this role, these things are really positive and would most definitely help the school improve. He realizes that he doesn’t talk much but he wants to change that so he can be a good role model for the younger students and those who look for help.
