A construction site full of laughs with “Are We Done Yet?”

Get ready for a bumpy rollercoaster ride full of laughs with today’s review “Are We Done Yet?” this movie has a lot of funny scenes like when Nick falls off his kayak and into the water to even getting into an altercation with a grizzly bear.

In the movie, a guy named Nick buys a house and hires a contractor to fix his house up and it turns into pure chaos. The contractor, Chuck, is super weird and causes Nick and his family huge problems. Chuck’s behavior can come off crazy and weird because throughout the whole movie he’s always freaking out and pushing Nick and coming up with new projects to do when they can barely finish the last project they started.

It’s a family comedy about a family dealing with chaos. “Are We Done Yet?” is a 2007 family comedy film directed by Steve Carr and starring Ice Cube as Nick Persons. The movie follows Nick’s chaotic experience with a home renovation contractor, played by John C. McGinley.

I thought the movie was pretty good, definitely for a younger audience because it has a lot of animated scenes with a lot of editing, color, jump scenes, and added sound effects. I’d say it’s pretty good because it is genuinely funny and Ice Cube plays a huge role with his humor and attitude. Especially when he catches his step daughter who has sneaked to be with a boy at a party which happened to be the son of the guy who is doing construction in his house. NIck (Ice Cube) get’s furious and fires the construction worker and drags his daughter out the party meanwhile his contractor is too busy doing a fire performance with wicks.

The movie has lots of scenes with lots to see and keeps you entertained throughout the whole movie. For example, when Nick fought off the raccoon off his roof trying to seem like he was big and bad and ended up falling through the roof. This scene was hilarious. Especially when the raccoon said “Sucka” and laughed as he ran away.

Overall it was really entertaining and I had some good laughs. I gave the movie a 8.5/10. I would definitely recommend you to watch this movie if you enjoy a good family comedy.

Here are some of the best scenes in the movie, I hope you enjoy!
