
Cecilia is a senior currently attending San Bernardino High School. She loves traveling with her Family, She has a lot of cats. She’s in Spanish Honors Society.
Teresa: If you could give someone younger than you advice, what would you give them?
Cecilia: I would give them the advice to not change themselves for other people cuz it’s better to do what’s best for themselves and not what’s in others interest.
Teresa: What advice would you give to someone facing a difficult situation?
Cecilia: To just persevere through it, cuz everything eventually ends and they eventually have better times.
Teresa: If you could travel anywhere in the world where would you go?
Cecilia: Paris, because I always wanted to go there with my family.
Teresa: If you win, what impact would you try to make?
Cecilia: I’ll try to make the impact to encourage other people to do what they want and that they could do whatever they want cuz I’m in a lot of different things and I still can do it and so can they.
Teresa: In your opinion, what are the most important values a teen can have?
Cecilia: I think the most important values a teen can have is perseverance and their own identity.
Teresa: What is your favorite memory?
Cecilia: I don’t really have a favorite memory. It’s normally when I’m with my family, like when I went with them to Las Vegas or Utah.
Teresa: How would you describe San Bernardino to someone who hasn’t been here?
Cecilia: I will describe San Bernardino as a diverse community cuz we have all the types of people here and a lot of different things.
Teresa: If you could choose between $1 million dollars, a trip around the world or to live a hundred years old, what would you pick?
Cecilia: I will pick a trip around the world with my family. I love going places with them.
Teresa:When you leave San Bernardino high school, What would you like to be remembered as?
Cecilia: I would just like to be remembered as someone who actually did something; who joined a lot of different clubs and I am the president of Spanish Honor Society.
Teresa: If you could have dinner with somebody, who would it be?
Cecilia: With my grandpa because he’s always been a role model to me and I’m inspired to be a good example to people just like how he did.
Teresa: Who is the most important person for you?
Cecilia: My dad, because he’s always been a good example to me and he’s always been supportive.No matter what I’m going through and whenever I need to talk to someone, I know that I can go talk to him.
Teresa: If you can hold on to one memory for your whole life, which would it be?
Cecilia: When I went to Utah with my family and my cats.
Teresa: What do you see yourself doing 5 years from now?
Cecilia: In 5 years, I see myself finishing college and I will be becoming a student teacher because I want to be a teacher and I would also have my business degree to help my parents with their family business.
