The Netflix original series, Stranger Things has become a big deal here at Cardinal City. This series is a science fiction-horror web-television series created, written, directed and co-executive produced by The Duffer Brothers. It is set in the 1980s in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana and employs a mix of investigative drama alongside supernatural elements with childlike sensibilities. The first season was released on Netflix on July 15, 2016 and the second one on October 27, 2017 which was watched by 15.8 million people in the US within the first three days. Binge watchers also tuned in, with 326,000 people streaming all nine episodes on the first day. The show’s average Tomato meter was 94% and the average audience rating was 95%.
