The Post, by Steven Spielberg, is a must-see! It takes place in the 1960’s. Kay Graham (Meryl Streep) is the first woman owner of the Washington Post Newspaper – or any newspaper in the world in fact. She is faced with a challenge by her Editor-in-Chief, Ben Bradlee (Tom Hanks), who wants her to publish years of top-secret government papers. Kay Graham must protect her father’s business and the First Amendment, but as a rich, powerful and popular lady, she must make a choice between keeping her social status or letting the government lie to the American people. The Post was given 88% on the Tomato Meter, the audience scored it 73%, and it received 7/10 from IMDb.
